ABOUT AUSTIN HOPKINS
An award-winning cinematographer, editor, and storyteller, Austin has been on the front lines of action sports, documentary, and commercial productions worldwide. His work has been consumed globally through various streaming platforms, live film events, television, and social media.
Austin's background combines academia and a passion for the outdoors: he graduated from Quinnipiac University with a BA in Film, Video, and Interactive Media. He then packed everything he owned into a Subaru and drove west to Wyoming for continued adventure in the Tetons. This move led to a full-time position with Teton Gravity Research in the fall of 2013, where he became an essential member of their production and post team for seven years.
In early 2020, he established his own venture. Fueled by a passion for creativity, unwavering commitment to excellence, and an insatiable thirst for adventure, Austin's endeavors epitomize a fusion of craft and exploration.
He currently lives in Boulder, Colorado, and is allergic to cats.
