An award-winning cinematographer, editor, and storyteller, Austin Hopkins has been on the front lines of action sports and documentary filmmaking around the world. His work has been consumed on a global scale through various streaming platforms, live film events, television, and social media.

Austin's background combines both academia and a passion for the outdoors: he graduated from Quinnipiac University with a BA in Film, Video, and Interactive Media, and then moved west to Wyoming for a season in the Tetons. This led to a position with Teton Gravity Research in the fall of 2013, where he became an essential member of their production and post team for nearly 7 years.

In early 2020, he founded his own production company to further his commitment and creative craft of storytelling. Austin draws inspiration from the people, places, and stories that exist in our world.

He currently lives in Boulder, Colorado, and is allergic to cats.
