An award-winning cinematographer, editor, and storyteller, Austin Hopkins has been at the forefront of action sports and documentary filmmaking around the world. His work has been consumed on a global scale through various streaming platforms, live film events, television, and social media.

Austin's background combines both academia and the outdoor adventure lifestyle: he graduated from Quinnipiac University with a BA in Film, Video, and Interactive Media, and then moved west to Wyoming for a season in the Tetons. This led to a position with Teton Gravity Research in the fall of 2013, where he became an essential member of their production and post team for nearly 7 years.

In early 2020, he founded his own production company to further his commitment to the creative craft of digital storytelling. Austin draws inspiration from the people, places, and events that exist in our world.

He currently lives in Jackson, Wyoming and is allergic to cats.
